Blessings Abound Us

To say that blessings abound us is probably an under statement, but we are rejoicing!! Friday, 2/25, Emma went in for her hearing test to determine at what frequencies Emma could not hear. Halfway through the test Lynnelle inquired as to how long after being fitted for hearing aids would Emma begin saying consonant sounds. The audiologist looked at us and then at the screen and said, "I usually don't say anything during testing, but I don't think Emma will need hearing aids." We were thrilled. The audiologist said later that she ran the tests twice just to be sure that the results she was getting were not incorrect. We have not been able to stop telling people about the miracle that God performed in Emma. There, truly, are no words that can express our gratitude, and so we praise Him with our lives. A coworker of Craig's rejoiced with him after hearing the news of Emma's healing and quoted a scripture from the Psalms, "He forgives our sins - every one. He heals our diseases - every one." (Psalms 103:3, The Message) In our daily scripture reading we came across this story in Mark 9.
"23Jesus said, "If? There are no "ifs' among believers. Anything can happen."

24No sooner were the words out of his mouth than the father cried, "Then I believe. Help me with my doubts!"

25Seeing that the crowd was forming fast, Jesus gave the vile spirit its marching orders: "Dumb and deaf spirit, I command you--Out of him, and stay out!" 26Screaming, and with much thrashing about, it left. The boy was pale as a corpse, so people started saying, "He's dead." 27But Jesus, taking his hand, raised him. The boy stood up. (Mark 9:17-27, The Message) Click here for full text.
We claim the victory for God! Truly, anything can happen. Only He can heal our diseases! Hallelujah!
