Oh, did I mention that after 19 months of signing with Emma she has started to sign? Oh, I didn't mention that..well Miss Emma has been working with Marcus (ST) since she was 3 months old. We started a new program the Hanen Program at the end of February, after 3 sessions with the new program Emma has started to sign. Her first sign was "more."
We were so excited. The next day Nana was getting lunch ready and she said, "Emma are you ready to eat?" And then she signed "eat" while saying eat. Emma signed "eat" back. She has been doing both signs consistently since then. She has also started high-fiving when you ask her for a high-five.Another one of her favorite things is to sing the itsy-bisty spider. Easter was great. We had an Easter Egg Hunt at the local DSAT and we saw some ol' friends again!
Easter day was a blast! The bunny brought Emma some cute and fun things. Then we hung out with Nana & Papa & Uncle B.

Yeah for signing!! Mine picked it up quick and now REFUSES to sign, even though she knows how. And no, she's not vocalizing more. I hope this isn't a glimps into her terrible twos!!
Wonderful news. I will be doing the Hanen programme later in the year so it is good to hear such a success story. Well done!
