Craig has accomplished a major life milestone: he turned 30! He is quite upset about it or I guess I should say he was upset about it. The Skaggs family helped me out by hosting a surprise family party for him and we had so much fun. Emma of course loved seeing Jarrett, Hayden, & Libby. Emma had a special hat that said, "My dad is married to a woman her twenties!" I loved that! I thought it was perfect, myself!:-) But, that wasn't the best part. After the other kiddos went to bed Emma was Queen of the hour we were trying to get her to point to her ears, nose, etc. Well, Jeremy asked Emma to point to his ears and she grabbed his ear. We all thought it was fluke, so we asked her to point to her ear and SHE DID IT. Then she did the same thing for her eyes, ears, moth, et. Of course we were exstatic. We have been working on this for months. Then we showed her pictures of Jeremy and Craig and said point to Daddy. She pointed at Craig. Then point at Jeremy and she pointed at him. She identified all of us in pictures!! Laurie and I are hoping that she will perform well on he IFSP review in a couple of weeks! :-) If you click on the title of the post you will see a video of Emma touching her nose.
I thought that this was a perfect birthday present because Craig has really been working on this with Emma. So, now maybe Craig will change his mind about how horrible turning 30 is.

WAY TO GO EMMA!!!!! That is great news on everything that she is learning. The hat she was wearing for the b-day party is too funny.
